Benson Hospital is a 22-bed inpatient/swing bed, eight-bed Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center with a multitude of outpatient services. Our team consists of more than 190 employees.
Benson Hospital serves the San Pedro Valley Hospital District in Southern Arizona, an area population of about 5,000, with a draw area of 10,000.

Medical Laboratory Technician- Nights
Part Time
Seeking a part-time, medical laboratory technician to perform quantitative and qualitative chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological analysis. To obtain data used by the pathologist and other physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of injury or disease. To perform laboratory procedures in a timely and accurate manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Education: Preferred MLT registered, work well in stressful situations; be able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends; possess excellent human relation skills. Mathematical, computer, reasoning, and language skills at a college level. Excellent organizational skills. Possess excellent human relations’ skills. Associated chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification or ability to complete. CPR per the Benson Hospital Policy. Able to pass color blindness test.
